Amyl Ampicillin Supplement, SP 302, is formulated to provide a selective level of ampicillin in Amyl AEROMONAS MEDIUM (RYAN) for the isolation of Aeromonas hydrophila and other Aeromonas sp. from faecal specimens, fish, amphibians as well as from freshwater sources, the majority of Aeromonas sp. having an MIC to ampicillin of greater than 10mg/ml.
