A medium for the detection and enumeration of enterococci and faecal streptococci in water. Conforms to Australian Standard Methods. Azide Medium is available in 100gm, 500gm containers and bulk packs.
Amyl Azide Medium, (AM751), is compounded according to the formulation of Hannay and Nortonspecified in the Australian Standard for Water Microbiology, AS4276.8 – 1995, for the enumeration of faecal streptococci by the MPN procedure.
Store the dehydrated medium below 25°C away from bright light and use before the expiry date. Tighten cap after each usage.
