Cetrimide Broth is used in the selective isolation of Ps. aeruginosa and is useful for the recovery of small numbers of organisms.
AM 40 Cetrimide Broth is a useful enrichment medium for the isolation of small numbers of Ps. aeruginosa, and has the same selective properties as the agar. Slight turbidity may be noticed in this broth due to the presence of cetrimide but this in no way affects the reading of the test results which are quite clear.
