Amyl Chloramphenicol Supplement, SP 405, is a 50 mgm per ml solution of the broad spectrum antibacterial, Chloramphenicol, for use as a selective agent in culture media used for the isolation of yeasts and/or moulds from clinical specimens, food and environmental samples, and any other material where the suppression of contaminating bacterial flora is essential for the isolation of fungal organisms.
