Description
Amyl Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (USA Type), AM 181, is a modification of the original formula described by Sabouraud1 and is recommended by the United States Pharmacopeia for the performance of quantitative fungal counts (Microbial Limit Testing) 2
Unlike the original formula, Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (USA Type) contains peptones derived from meat and milk protein materials, together with mycological peptone, dextrose as a source of carbohydrate and bacteriological agar.
Amyl Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (USA Type), AM 181, is available in 100g, 500g containers and in bulk packs. Store the dehydrated product below 25°C away from strong light and use before expiry date. Tighten cap after each use.
